This is Mimi She is roughly around 5 and a half months old.She came from the Croydon colony. When the colony arrived, they fell ill with cat flu. They were treated for cryptosporidium (an intestine parasite) and mycoplasma ( upper respiratory infection) these are not long term and they have been treated for these. One of the kittens in the colony was tested positive for feline coronavirus. I don’t think people realise how common it is in cats. Although mimi wasn’t tested for this it was another kitten within the colony so it would be highly likely she to had it, but we are unsure. When collecting the kittens, they were unhandable and hated to be touched, mimi has come along way since them. She will be picked up and stroked but would also benefit from he company of another cat as she loves to be around her siblings. She has been microchipped and up to date with her flea and worming treatments.
Feline coronavirus—-It’s actually extremely common. It’s highly contagious – 80–90% of multicat households are infected. It affects the gut. All kittens are full of life, they are very energetic and love to play
